Spring has sprung here in the northwest!

Made it down to the Oregon coast last weekend and although it was still a little cool and breezy the trip was a great refresher after spending so much time indoors the past few months avoiding the rain. Looking forward to another great year of visiting and photographing the incredible geography here in Oregon and Washington and will also be going to more events.

Wine tasting, a rodeo and mud bog are on the agenda as well as the Shakespeare festival, Blues Festival, plus too many others to list. Check back often to see what's going on up here and don't forget, you're invited for a visit any time!

This picture was taken last weekend right here in Portland. The aviary in Forest Park has numerous trails, lots of old trees and even a few birds. I'm always on the lookout for any place that might be a good spot for that character they call Bigfoot, and it looks like I might have found something here!
