Tualatin Hills Nature Park

I've been hiking in this park about twice a month since last November. Depending on the time of day it can be very peaceful although the park is surrounded by some fairly busy neighborhoods so it's no surprise when the traffic noise does filter through the trees.

The thing I've been most pleased with about the park, in fact it's the main reason I enjoy the northwest so much, is that it manages to stay so green all year. Comparing this image with several others taken over the past few months, it seems that the only thing that changed is the amount of moss growing on the sidewalk!
