I went hiking in Minto-Brown Island Park this last weekend and found the experience to be very pleasant. The bike / walking paths seemed to go on forever and the walk actually got a little boring until I discovered another unpaved but fairly well-worn path that was almost completely hidden from view. I decided to take a chance and see where it led. I soon found myself completely off the beaten path, so to speak, and surrounded by trees and dense foliage. I thought this path might lead to a new adventure but I eventually I ended up at the river, walking on yet another paved path ... so much for discovering new territory!
