World's largest gazing ball?

Found this big guy waiting patiently in the park along the waterfront in Salem, just south of the Carousel. My mother makes gazing balls (slightly smaller) for a hobby to decorate her yard and when I saw this huge thing I wondered how long it would take her to cover it with clear glass marbles!
